Purito wants to retire?
We saw Horner last year winning at almost 42. Why not Purito if he wants a Grand Tour not to compete until his 40s? Maybe he will have to opportunity to win it when there will not be so big concurence like in this 2014 Vuelta.
Not the same thing, Horner and Purito had different paths in their career. And looking at the top talent coming from behind, the Vuelta will be stacked with favourites in the future.
I’m leaning towards Froome, but if Quintana takes him he would be laying down one serious marker! Good to see Contador has casually shrugged off his broken leg! Surely he won’t last the pace for three weeks?
Contador might surprise everyone, he’s the joker of this race. If everything goes well in the first 10 days, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him going berserk in the following stages.

Definetely the Vuelta start list looks more appealing than what we had in Il Giro and Le Tour. But let’s see what we will happen. We might have a deception after few days when we will see our favourites far away on the GC.
I also want for Purito to win but I think the order of the favourites will be Quintana, Froome, Purito, Contador, Valverde, Uran. I don’t give any chance to Horner and I’m eagerly to see what outsider will infiltrate between the favourites.
Who do you see as coming from behind and not listed as a favourite at this moment?
Alex, uita-te cine a inceput mai intai. Eu ii respect pe ceilalti, dar cer sa fiu la randul meu respectat si la fel si favoritul meu. Nu sa apara cineva si sa faca glume fara pic de haz.
Nu stiu de ce, dar mi s-a parut o gluma inofensiva, desi accept ca poate te-a deranjat formularea. Nu cred ca a vrut sa faca o ironie, insa ne va lamuri cand/daca va mai intra.

PS: nu-s fan Froome. Am fost si am ramas fan doar al lui Marco Pantani. Din ciclismul de azi doar simpatizez diversi rutieri si-ti pot marturisi ca pe Alberto il plac mai mult ca pe Chris.

Last chance for Purito to win a Grand Tour, but with Quintana and Froome in the race, I think he can hope just for a podium finish.
Yeah, a stage win is more probably than the podium place.

Fabio Aru and Wilco Kelderman (both for a top 10, with Aru capable of winning a stage) and Warren Barguil (a stage win and maybe a top 15).
